He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. (Proverbs 28:26 KJV)

LET US PRAY: Lord, I delight in serving You, I delight in reading and hearing Your Word, and I delight in keeping Your commandments. Lord, I have hidden Your Word in my heart that I may not sin against You, and that I may draw closer to You, and You may draw closer to me, and bless me. Father, I ask You to send Your Holy Spirit to me to fill me with strength that I may completely meditate on Your Word day and night. May Your Spirit open up my understanding that I may get the deepest meaning of Your Word, and I may not misinterpret it. Lord, as Your Word dwells in my heart, may it influence every word that comes out of my mouth, and make me a better person. As I memorize Your Word, may it sink deep into my soul and prosper me. Lord, may I never trust in my own self, understanding, and decisions. Teach me to be wise that I may be delivered from all my troubles when I call on You. From this moment forth, I will only trust in You, Your Word, Your righteousness, and Your kingdom. As I do, keep me free from temptation and ignorant decisions, and make me more wiser by the day. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
