LET US PRAY: LORD, You have made me understand that the preparations of the heart depends on a man, but the answer of the tongue depends on You. Lord, help me to prepare my heart in accordance to Your Word and Your Will. May I do this effectively by reading and understanding Your Word, and keeping all Your commandments. Lord, as I prepare my heart by worshipping, praising, serving, and praying to You, I ask that You fill my heart completely with Your love, peace, joy, and righteousness. May I speak out of the abundance of Your love in my heart. Convict me, Lord, when I say any word that doesn't glorify You in any way. Help me to speak with Your wisdom and Your understanding. May I never be too quick to speak. May I carefully think of what I want to say, that it may bring glory to Your Name. Reveal to me when to speak, and when to hold my tongue. Lord, whenever I open my mouth to speak, I ask that You speak through me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
