LET US PRAY: Lord, I ask today, that You bless me with Your grace to resist pride and embrace humility. Lord Jesus, I want to be as humble as You were while You walked on the surface of this earth. Though You were the Son of Man, You embraced fishermen, and everyone who wanted the gift of eternal life. Lord, today, I ask that You cast out any spirit of pride within me. I know that pride comes before a fall, and I do not want that for myself. Lord, as I humble myself before You and before man, exalt me in due time. Make me understand clearly that humility is not thinking less of oneself, but thinking of oneself less. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
