For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. (Proverbs 8:11)

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, I have always asked you for material things when I was growing. I prayed for the best clothes, new toys, a bigger house, an exclusive school among others. Whenever I see a friend or my neighbor come home with something nice I used to want the same thing too. But you made me realized how petty these things are and that these are not permanent in this world. I just wanted to thank you oh Lord for the gift of wisdom which made me see and realize the things that matters most like love, compassion, humility and respect for others. Thank you for enlightening me and showing me how to weight good from evil. Thank you for surrounding me with wonderful people in my life who continuously guide me through you. I desire nothing Lord but to walk with you. Grant me the wisdom I needed always in my day to day living. These I ask in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
