He that is soon angry deals foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated. (Proverbs 14:17)

Let us pray. Lord Jesus, you have shown us the perfect example on how to become a true son of God. When people mocked and rebuked you, you chose to repay them with your kindness and welcomed them with open arms when they needed your help. Let me live your examples Lord. May I live harmoniously with others. And when they try hurting my feelings, may I not vent into anger. Stop my mouth from saying spiteful and hurtful words. I have learned in the past that an angry heart will lead you to nowhere except hatred from others. Guide me Lord and make me an instrument of peace at home, in my workplace and within my community.  Amen.
