LET US PRAY: Our Lord, Stephen was an amazing person. His faith led to both his death and his life. He was a person of conviction, but it’s the legacy he left that means so much to all of us. His witness allowed us to see how a truly Christ-centered life is supposed to be lived. I cannot imagine praying a prayer of forgiveness upon people who are bringing harm to me, but that’s because I would try to go it alone. Stephen knew that you were right there watching, caring and loving. If ever there were treasures in heaven for a person, Stephen has enough to spare! I pray we can follow his example and seek your grace in whatever circumstance may come our way. We can face anything with you. Amen.
