And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. (Isaiah 11:2)

Let us pray: Almighty God, the fountain of hope and wisdom, you know the needs in our hearts even before we ask for your holy presence and help. Without you, nothing is strong. I pray today for your Holy Spirit to guide me along the way and rule over my thoughts and actions. Guide me and instruct me on what to do. Prepare a righteous path for me dear Father for I will be eternally lost without you. These I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
