But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

Let us pray: Oh Merciful Jesus, you were crowned with thorns but you did not complain. You were nailed in the cross, yet you accepted it within. You were struck with a spear but you just looked up in heaven. You took all the pains for the sake of our salvation and reconciliation with the Father Almighty. We can never thank you enough Lord Jesus but let us shout and glorify you until the end of our days. Amen.
