For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:26 KJV)

 LET US PRAY: Lord, it is discouraging when others around me seem to coast when it comes to their faith. They go to church, profess a belief in you and always say the right things, but rarely do they do anything to back it up. Thank you for the wisdom that you shared through James when it was made clear that we must be faithful and believe first and foremost. However, if we keep that faith pinned up inside and never share ourselves and talents with others, then our faith is hollow. Jesus, you were a human of action, and if we are to follow your example, then we must be people willing to do on God’s behalf. Give us the strength and diligence to never rest. May we forever be active in our faith and let us spread your message to the ends of the earth. And just as importantly, show me the ways to continue in my journey with you and avoid people who steal my joy and try to stop me from being faithful in activating your will. Amen.
