For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness. (2 Peter 1:5-6)

Let us pray: Lord Jesus, I am a believer but I know that faith without work is useless. Grant me Lord the wisdom to guide me with my daily actions. You are the epitome of a disciplined and a righteous man who restraints and never indulge. Help me Lord to walk in the same manner. Grant me not only the knowledge of what is good from bad but also self-control in eating drinking, and all other impure and unclean acts which do not only ruin the body but also the spirit.  Lord Jesus, bestow fortitude upon me so that I can make all these things possible. Amen.
