I will take away the chariots from Ephraim and the warhorses from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be broken. He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth. (Zechariah 9:10)

Let us pray: Lord Jesus, sovereign over all, your sure stronghold is what we need whenever we feel distressed and troubled due to conflicts within our country. Please hear the voice of your pleading children. Deliver us from every danger and evil. Strengthen us physically and spiritually. Let no war take away our faith in you. Your grace and might is greater than any unrest. We believe that you will soon end all the hostilities and establish justice and peace on earth. Amen.
