Let us pray: Oh Loving God, I have always been praying for the end of poverty but if there’s an important reason why this continues to exist then I will trust in your will and perfect timing for everything. I ask you Lord to encourage and strengthen the needy so that they may overcome the battle they face each day. I also want to pray for kindness, generosity and justice for those who are abled and rich so that they may treat the poor ones with fairness and dignity. These I ask in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
