If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Let us pray: Father in Heaven, in the midst of the typhoon and flood we are experiencing, we want to seek for your forgiveness Lord for our disobedience and negligence. We were too greedy and unmindful for the consequences of our actions but still we have abused our forests and natural resources. We have cut down trees and neglected our mountains which hold water and soil during heavy rains. Now, we suffer from our mistakes. Save us from this disaster. Grant us the chance to correct our wrong ways.  Graciously hear our prayers Lord. Amen.
