Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17)

Let us pray: Almighty Father, praises and glory are given to your name as we stand today in celebration of our Independence Day and all the great things that our country has achieved since the day our forefathers stood before you. We thank you Lord for granting us our freedom. It was a hard-fought battle where brave lives were lost but your Holy Spirit delivered a glorious result out from their sacrifices. Stay with us oh Holy Father and help us protect this freedom until the end. Amen.
