So the two women went on until they came to Bethlehem. When they arrived in Bethlehem, the whole town was stirred because of them, and the women exclaimed, "Can this be Naomi? (Ruth 1:19)

Let us pray: Father God, the story of Naomi is truly inspiring. If I were one of those people I would be very excited as well for here is a woman, who was beaten up by miseries but because of her insight, patience, wisdom and unselfish love for her daughters in law, you rewarded her with more than she expected. Bless me Lord and inspire me to become a woman like Naomi. I pray that I would also be able to remain faithful in spite of my personal tests and remain helpful to others. Amen.
