Let us pray: Blessed are you oh Holy Father in the heavens! Through your love and mercy, you have broken the chains of oppressions and slavery in the past. We thank you as we remember our forefathers who went through the most terrible experiences of their lives, surrounded by the death of their families, friends and loved ones. Bless their souls dear Lord and grant them peace as we ask for everlasting peace for us who are living at present times. May the celebration of Independence Day brings the fire of heroism in everyone us and perform acts that would glorify this nation that you created. Amen.
