“For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.” (Malachi 2:16)

Let us pray: Dear God, I know that I don’t have to hide what I’m going through right now. My spirit is torn apart after I discovered the infidelity of my husband. And now that he chose to break the vow we made to you, I feel ashamed that my husband has left me. I lay everything in your arms oh Lord. Grant me the gift of forgiveness. I pray that I may forgive myself for the things I have done and forgive my husband without hostility and revenge. Strengthen me with your grace and please never let go of my hand. Amen.
