Jesus replied, "Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. (Matthew 19:8)

Let us pray: Father in Heaven, source of wisdom and glory, look upon the marriages of every couple on earth and remind them the love they first shared. I pray that you open their eyes and make them realize the ugliness of divorce. Let no husband take advantage of the weaknesses of a wife. Let no wife live in selfishness and pride. We pray for your Holy Spirit to heal our current society. Amen.
