Let us pray: Everlasting Father, who reigns supreme both in heaven and earth, we pray on this special day that may peace and justice prevail in our nation. We pray that no such war would ever happen again and that no more blood would be spilled from your sons and daughters. Bless each and every one of us with kindness, understanding and forgiveness. Grant our country's leaders the wisdom to continuously work for peace and justice at all times not only in this land but in the whole world. Amen
