Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. (1 Timothy 5:17)

Let us pray: Lord Jesus, today we honor you for showing the whole world what love and great and sacrifice can do. We thank you for teaching us love and justice. We thank you for inspiring our forefathers who work hard in preaching for peace. The may have lost their lives along the way fighting for the right to live and co-exist with one another but their contributions are never forgotten nor put to waste. We would like to honor them too in today’s Independence Day. Amen.
