Let us pray: Lord Jesus, you showed the whole world what a great leader you are. You are humble, compassionate, selfless and above all wise. We pray that you inspire all candidates this year. May You teach them to live simply. May You teach them to be trustworthy. May You teach them to be just and fair. And may You teach them to be faithful not only to the people but above all to God. May they uphold the dignity of this nation and act upon your will. Amen.
