He said, "The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; My savior, You save me from violence. "I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies. (2 Samuel 22:2-4)

Let us pray: All powerful and ever-living Father, I pray for the souls of my departed loeveones and their comrades who lost their lives during D-Day. May they enjoy the peace in your kingdom. At the same time Lord, I beseech your protection to those brave men, assigned in far away places, doing their duties in keeping this world a better and peaceful place. Protect our soldiers Lord. May you be their constant companion and their strength in battle, and their refuge in every obstacles. Guide them, O Lord, that they may return home in safety. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen
