Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues. (Proverbs 10:19)

Let us pray: Dearest God, author of peace and bearer of truth, we pray that you grant us the gift of wisdom. Teach us to become prudent so that we may only speak never it is necessary.  May we always choose our words well to avoid offending others. Instead, inspire us Lord to use kind and gentle words to encourage, support and guide our brothers and sisters. Amen.
