Let us pray: Lord Jesus, in this world where greed and selfishness continuously blind people’s hearts and minds, I pray that I turn away from all the temptations that may hurt my relationship with you. Show me how it’s done Lord, to embrace genuine compassion and understanding towards others. Fill me with your light so that I may only see what is good. When tempted with money and other material things, remind me what truly maters in heaven. Amen.
