But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.” (Ruth 1:16-17)

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we pray that you bless all married women with the loyalty and love displayed by Ruth in the Bible.  She gave and showed us a beautiful example of the importance of solidarity in marriage. May all couple out there choose to commit to their partners. And may they keep their vows while they are still alive. Amen.
