"Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." (Luke 22:42)

Let us pray: Ever loving and Eternal God, source of the light that never dims and of love that never fails, please draw me near You in these times of agony and hardship. I may not understand why I have to go through this Lord but I trust in You and my heart tells me that You have stored better days for me. As I endure this ordeal, take my hand and guide me Lord. And when I can no longer carry on, may you lift me up and wrap me with your strength and mercy. Amen.
