For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18)

   Let us pray: Heavenly Father, enlighten us that we may see more of your wisdom and power as we look up at the cross. Let us receive courage, strength and faithfulness as we walk confidently with Jesus. Grant us the grace to overcome difficulties and lead us Lord to the glory of your kingdom. These we pray through your son, Jesus Christ, our savior, who lives and reigns in our hearts. Amen.
