Let us pray: Dear Lord, this Christmas season
help us to remember that the festivity is not about food, gifts, bonuses and
reunions. Humble us and help us simplify our activities and traditions so that we
can focus our celebration on Your birth. Forgive us Lord for those times we
have missed You and forgotten what Christmas is all about. And so this year, we
want to celebrate You alone. Thank you for being the Prince of Love, Joy and
Peace. Please reign in our hearts forever and ever, Amen.
