But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

Let us pray: God Almighty, giver and provider of everything, we thank you for the blessings of independence you have given to this land. You covered this country with your glory and gave us heroes who had faith in all humanity even before we were born. You gave them hope and strength to fight against the wrong.  Empower us to become a hero of our own. May our actions, no matter how simple they are, help this nation stand united until the end. Amen.
