“Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away?" (Jeremiah 23:23)

Let us pray: Most gracious and loving Father, on this day, we bow down in prayers and honor you as we remember the independence day of our country. We could never achieve this without your guidance and help. We pray that you lead us in becoming a free and prosperous nation we are supposed to be. Forgive us if we forget your laws but never forsake us dear Lord in times of difficulties and trials. May your Holy Spirit be with us always and forever. Amen.
