Let us pray: God of all grace and mercy, as we celebrate our nation’s Independence Day, we lift up our gratefulness and thanksgiving to you. We are thankful and grateful dear Father for the privilege you have given us to live in this land of the brave and free.  We are thankful and grateful for those great people whom you have appointed through your grace to fight for our liberty. May these veterans who are now in heaven take pride of their accomplishments for we won’t be enjoying our lives right now without their sacrifices. Your power and glory lives on dear Father. Amen.
