Slaves, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. (Colossians 3:22)

Let us pray: Oh God, may you clear my mind and heart during days when I feel so lazy and stubborn. Grant me your wisdom Lord and enlightenment me when I am about to give up my work and ambition. Forgive me when I disobey my leader and think ill of him. Prevent me Lord from entertaining ugly thoughts, self-pity and resentment. Make me realize Lord that my labor is dedicated to you each day so that I may do my duty with gladness and thanksgiving. Amen.
