No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier. (2 Timothy 2:4)

Let us pray: Lord Jesus, please hear our prayers today. May God, our Holy Father,  through You and His Holy Spirit bring comfort and joy to all soldiers deployed in far away places. May they find solace in You in the midst of war. May their courageous sacrifices bring peace across the world and lastly, may the saving Grace of God wrapped all nations with mercy and forgiveness so that no innocent lives shall be sacrificed ever again. Amen.
