And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31)

Let us pray: Dearest Jesus, you have taught us the two greatest commandments and showed the whole world how it is done. Let us live by your examples. Lead us Lord into the righteous path. In this world today where greed is trying to overpower compassion and justice, make us your instruments Lord in promoting right over wrong by helping immigrants and refugees. Show us Lord on how to truly care and protect them. May we bestow them the same kindness, mercy and justice we received from you. Amen.
