Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. (Genesis 12:1)

Let us pray: Almighty and most gracious God, I put my life into your loving hands as I begin my journey in a different country. Please watch over me and keep me away from harm, danger and temptation. Help me focus only with my goals and purpose in coming to this foreign land. While doing that, allow me to meet friends who can guide and help me adapt in a new environment. May we all together grow spiritually in You and do things according to your will. Amen.
