“If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you. (Leviticus 25:35)

Let us pray: Dearest God, we are all your children and You treat us all with the same love, mercy and compassion. Today, as I start work in this foreign country, I sincerely pray for the success of this journey away from home. Sustain me oh Lord with your grace, love and protection. May you fill my longings with joy and peace of mind. Surround me with kind-hearted people. As you protect me from any abuse and danger, I pray for the safety of my family as well. I will commit my work to You Lord until I return to my home country again. Amen.
