Why Pray the Scriptures?

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44 KJV)

LET US PRAY: Lord, may I always realize that the devil is the Father of lie and all things evil. May I always be aware that when he gives, he takes even much more from those he offers anything. Lord, keep me away from the wile of the devil, and the lust of worldly things. May I be always focused on You, and Your kingdom, that I may never lack anything good. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
