Why Pray the Scriptures with PRAYHoUSe?

‘Why pray the Scriptures with us?’ you may ask. It’s already known that without faith we cannot please God (Hebrews 11:6). God wants us to come to Him in prayer, believing that He is God and that He rewards those who seek Him diligently with the desires of their heart. I don’t know what you’re thinking right now, but I’m overwhelmed with the fact that with faith I can be able to please the One who created everything including heaven, earth, you and I.

That’s not all, the Bible also tells us that whatever we ask God for in prayer, it will be ours only if we believe that we have received it (Mark 11:24). Knowing that what keeps us from getting the things we want is to just believe we have received it, is that too difficult for us to do? I mean; believe. If having faith as a mustard seed can give us the power to speak to our troubles and tell them to leave us alone (Matthew 17:20), why don’t we sincerely trust God for the things we want? Who wouldn’t want all things to be possible for him or her as long as they believe God is able to give them what they ask for (Mark 9:23)?

God already knows all that we need even before we ask Him (Matthew 6:8), but He still wants us to come to Him (Matthew 11:28) and acknowledge that He is God (Proverbs 3:6). When we do, He gives our life a sense of purpose and gives us rest. He doesn’t want us to be anxious about anything (Philippians 4:6). What He expects us to do is to give thanks to Him for all that He has done already and ask Him for all we need in prayer. He wants us to trust Him for the things that we want, and when we do, He bless us with His peace, which is beyond man’s imagination.

God gave us the gift of prayer because He knows that we will need Him. God knows that we can do nothing without Him (John 15:5) and I think He deliberately made it so, that we may come to acknowledge Him. All that God wants for us is peace. He knows that in this world, we will have tribulation (John 16:33), but He wants us to find comfort knowing that He has overcome the world.

When we pray, we ought to bear in mind that He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). We ought to realize that there is nothing the enemy can do to bring us down (Isaiah 54:17), though they may bend us, they can never break us. God wants us to realize that when the enemy comes, He will fight for us (Isaiah 59:19). This is why He gave us the gift of prayer—a privilege that many people fail to make good use of. God wants us to be strong in Him and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10), that’s why He gave us His full armor, which is prayer. Prayer makes us able to stand against the manipulation of the devil.

When we pray to God with faith, we are able to protect ourselves from the enemy (Ephesians 6:16). Isn’t prayer an amazing weapon? Many people don’t realize that earth is a battlefield, and that’s why they underestimate the need to pray. Everyday, we fight against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Isn’t that a lot to fight against? Don’t you think you need the help of the One who has absolute power over everything?

When we build our faith upon God the solid Rock, the gates of hell does not prevail over us (Matthew 16:18). When good Christians cry to God, He hears them and saves them from all their troubles (Psalm 34:17). Nobody can be against such people because God is for them (Romans 8:31). When we pray, God expects us not to worry anymore because everything is now in His able Hands. He expects us to do nothing but know that He is God (Psalm 46:10) and that nothing is hard for Him to accomplish (Jeremiah 32:17).

God wants us to pray right, and that’s what PRAYHoUSe is all about. We want to help thousands, and if it is God’s will; help millions pray right. We want to help Christians all over the world pray according to God’s will that He may hear us all (1 John 5:14). Is there any better place to know what God’s will is other than the Holy Bible? Remember, the Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It penetrates even to diving soul and spirit, joints and marrow (Hebrews 4:12). So if we pray with Scripture verses (the Word of God), we make our prayers alive and active, sharp and penetrative. Just imagine!

So we have selected and prayed with thousands of wonderful Scripture verses that cover a vast number of things Christians often pray for or should pray for, such as: strength, healing, faith, prosperity, relationship, family, protection, and forgiveness.

You could say three everyday—that's one for morning, noon and night.

Don’t forget to glorify God when He delivers you from your trouble because He enjoys our praise (Romans 4:20), especially when we use what He has blessed us with to His glory. When we do well with the little He has blessed us with, we motivate Him to trust us with more.

We hope this website helps you, and we would appreciate your feedback from feedback@prayh.com.
