Why Pray the Scriptures?

He that hath the Son I hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:12-13 KJV)

LET US PRAY: Lord, I want to have life, and I want to have it in abundance. Lord, I believe in Jesus, my Savior and the Messiah. Lord, this life I live is short and vulnerable. I long for the life after. The eternal one. Lord, as I live this one in preparation for the eternal life You have prepared for me, Lord, stay with me, and keep me safe and tended. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
