Why Pray the Scriptures?

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:8 KJV)

LET US PRAY: Lord, may Your Word never depart from my mouth. May I always speak about Your goodness, Your promises, Your miracles, Your power, Your kindness, Your faithfulness, Your love, Your beauty, and Your awesomeness. Lord, may I meditate on Your Word everyday. May Your Word never depart from my lips. May I do everything that I do in Your love and according to Your Word. Lord, as I do what's right at all times, make my way prosperous, the works of my hands established, and may I have good success, now and forever. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
