Why Pray the Scriptures?

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. (1 Chronicles 4:10 KJV)

LET US PRAY: Lord, today, I call on You. You are the God of Israel, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David. You are the God of all flesh, and there is nothing beyond Your ability. Lord, I ask for Your blessings upon me. I ask that You bless me, and everything that concerns me. I ask that You bless all those that care about me, and I care about. Lord, into Your Hands I commit my ways. Enlarge my coast. May Your Hand be upon me and establish me. Keep me from evil that I may not grieve or suffer. I know that You have granted me my request. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
