But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: (2 Corinthians 1:9-11 KJV)

LET US PRAY: Lord God, I do not trust in anybody but You. I do not trust in my own strength because I grow tired often. I do not trust in my own knowledge because often I do not have the answers to many questions. I do not trust in my own understanding because often I make bad decisions that affect me greatly. Lord, I am sorry for the times I relied on my ability. From this moment on, I will trust in only You because You are Omnipotent; there is nothing You cannot do, You are Omniscient; there is nothing You do not know, and You are Omnipresent; Your presence extends throughout the Universe and no one can hide from You. Lord, as I trust in You, the Raiser of the dead, the Healer of the sick, the Refuge of the oppressed, the Strengthener of the weak, and the Deliverer of the troubled, raise me from sin to righteousness, strengthen me in time of weakness, protect me from danger and harm, heal me completely and supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory through Christ Jesus, in whose Name I pray. Amen.
