Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: (Matthew 6:19-21 KJV)

LET US PRAY: Lord, give me the wisdom, understanding, knowledge and discernment never to lay up for myself treasures upon earth. May I never treasure worldly pleasures and possessions for they all are vanity. Lord, may I never prefer the vain pleasures of sin to the life of righteousness. May I delight in serving You in truth and in spirit, and teaching others to do the same. Father, I know that worldly possessions are subject to corruption. Lord, bless me with adequately wisdom to lay up all my treasures in heaven for no thief can break in and steal what is stored up for me in Your kingdom. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
