LESSON: Is there anyone who knows just exactly how it feels to love someone so much, and be rejected by that same person? That person is Jesus. Even while we were still sinners, He had His eyes on us. His love for us knows no bound. His unconditional love led Him to lay down His life for us all. His love for mankind cannot be fully described by words. He is the Son of Man, yet He came to dwell with man in human form.
We rejected Him. Many didn't accept Him. Majority didn't even know who He was. He was killed by the same people who He died for. Many of which didn't repent of their sins. Man continue to turn their face away from Him, despising Him all over again. Nevertheless, His love still remains. He is ever ready to carry out worries, sorrows, cares, troubles, anxieties, and burdens because He cares for us all.
LET US PRAY: Lord Jesus, I am deeply sorry for the times I claimed to love You, yet my actions failed to show it. I am sorry for the times I broke Your heart with the things that I do. Lord, just as You loved man even when we rejected Your love, may I love those who hate me and speak wrong about me. May I pray for those who seek to destroy me. May my love for others be unconditional. May I see them through Your eyes and love them just as You love them. Lord, I turn my face to You today, seeking Your kingdom and Your righteousness in all that I do. Lord, I cast all my worries, sorrows, cares, troubles, anxieties and burdens upon You because I know that You truly care for me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
