PRAYING RIGHT: Praying Before Meals

I love spontaneous prayers. I believe we ought to pray just as we breathe. I also love properly-said prayers. Both are awesome, and God will always listen to such prayers as long as they are said with
sincerity, and faith. Many people love and rely on written prayers because they do not have the right words to say while praying.

Written prayers can help a Christian improve in his/her prayer life, in both words and willingness. People often say the same prayer over and over again before their meal. Many cram, and often recite a prayer before meal. This often leads to many people taking their meal prayers for granted. To many people it has lost meaning, and they do it as a tradition; one of the many things they do.

No, meal prayers must be taken very seriously. When we pray over our meals, we need to be serious. We need to talk to God with total seriousness and humility. We need to focus on our conversation with
God, and take everything else off our mind, and focus our heart to God. He deserves more than all our attention. I will like when next you say a prayer before your meal, you carefully and thoughtfully talk
to God; thanking Him for His provision, and His mercy.
