LESSON: Isn't it amazing, One Man wiping away the sins of millions? I'm certain the cross was really heavy because He was not only carrying a mere cross, He was carrying the weight of all our sins; your sin, my sin, everybody's sin. He took it upon Himself that we may have eternal life at no cost. He paid the ultimate price for us all. Now we are saved. What an amazing sacrifice. A Man laying down His life for His friends. He was wounded for our offense. He was bruised for our sins. He took all the punishment for us that we may find peace with the Father. He gave us the gift of reconciliation.
Through His amazing selfless act of love, we find healing from all our sickness, diseases, afflictions, and pain. It was man who went astray, embracing sin, evil, and darkness, but through Jesus Christ His Son, God gave us the chance to return to Him. He laid our sins on His Son; a selfless act of love, that we may find a place in His kingdom where He has prepared for all those who love Him, and trust in Him.
LET US PRAY: Lord Jesus, thank You for such amazing love You showed to us all. Thank You for bearing the sins of us all, and erasing them all. Thank You for bearing such heavy burden upon Yourself. Thank You for carrying my cross of sin upon Yourself. Thank You for giving me the gift of eternal life at no cost. Thank You for paying the ultimate price for me. Thank You that through that single act of love, I am saved completely. Thank You for such an amazing sacrifice. Teach me to be more like You in character. Thank You that through You I find peace with the Father. Thank You for such an awesome gift of reconciliation. Lord, may I never take Your love for granted. May I be found worthy to enter Your kingdom where You have prepared for my eternity. Through Your stripes, may I be healed completely in body, mind, and soul because I believe in You, and You care for me. In Your Name I pray. Amen.
