LET US PRAY: Dear Lord, Why do I
choose fortune over faith? Is it worth getting stuff on earth instead of
storing unending treasures in Heaven? How can I live out the words of Christ if
I am living only for a paycheck? I ask myself these questions today because I
am ready to choose you. Not part of you – all of you. I choose to let go of
what ties me to the dirt. I set my focus now on the golden streets of heaven! Place
within me a Christ-like spirit of sacrificing all of me for you. Bless my mind with
motivation to serve you and your kingdom. And strengthen my body so it can go
to the ends of the globe with your message of salvation on my tongue. There are
far greater measures of success than money or possessions. The gift of
eternity, a life dedicated to you and others and the ability to unashamedly
call you Lord of all, those are the riches I will work for each second for the
rest of my days. Amen.
