LET US PRAY: Gracious God, you are the most amazing artist. When I look
at the wonders of this world around me, I am stunned by its beauty. In its most
natural state, the waters, trees, flowers, sky and mountains that comprise our
temporary residence are beyond words. If I then spend time appreciating the beautiful
machine that is the human body, I am again mesmerized by how the blood flows,
the brain thinks and the muscles work. Much like the early Israelites who spend
years in the desert, you have loaned us the land and flesh. May we keep your
commandments, be appreciative for that which we possess and strive to choose
your ways as we faithfully live in your masterpiece. Amen.
