Let us pray: Loving God, forgive me for I have sinned. Teach me a lesson without taking away this precious life. I know that it is through your grace and power that I was created. My body I owe you, my breath I owe you, my day to day existence I owe you dear Father. I live by your mercy. I pray then that you recreate me by first casting away my sins. Remove any traces of conceit, egotism and greed. Mend my broken spirit and fill it Lord with your mercy and compassion. I want to be born again Lord with your love shining through my thoughts, feelings and actions. I pray all of these in Jesus’ name, Amen.
