Let us pray: O Merciful God, from the very beginning when
you first created man, you wanted nothing but balance and harmony among your
creations. Your plan was perfect Lord but mankind’s disobedience has always created
the gap between you and your people. And from time to time, you have shown your
great mercy and forgiveness by sending prophets to lead your people back to you
but the ultimate sign of your love is when you send your own son to redeem us
from darkness. Thank you Lord for giving us our savior. Thank you for keeping
your promise of eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ. May this covenant
last forever, Amen.
